Update on the Roo-mister

1. On July 28 he began crawling.
2. On Aug. 6 he stood up on the side of the couch by himself
3. On Aug. 10 Mitchell stood up by himself on everything he could find and refused to go to sleep in all his glory of accomplishments! (He was even clever enough to grab is bottle off the stool next to his play pen and start drinking it.) And entertained us with giggles and goofiness until 11:30 when he finally went to sleep, cuddled up to his blanket lying on his side as always. :)
4. Prediction on Aug. 20 Roo will be walking! (With this kind of progress we are only giving him two weeks until he walks! And he is determined to do so!)

Well ever since I started Nursing school life has become pretty hectic.... at least in my brain. So here are just a few of the things we have been up to.... during April and some of May...

Blessing outfit.....two months later.... and with terrible lighting..... But such a cute boy! The outfit turned out darling! Joan made the tie and my mom made the pants from my moms wedding dress! The shirt is a darling one-z white collared shirt from our bishop and his wife!

What myself and my house has become... a mess. Me working on my final show before school started.

The blessing day was also Dallin's dad's birthday so Jordan and Dal worked very hard on this wooden tie they cut, painted, and pieced together themselves!

Mitch got sick this past week and a half so we have had a humidifier on him.... he is still not so sure what he thinks about it!

One day.....

One day....
I'll clean my house and it will stay clean.
I will be on time.
My homework will get done when I plan.
I won't go low at night anymore and end up devouring the entire kitchen in two minutes flat.
I won't feel so emotional from rollercoaster hormones due to pregnancy or post pregnancy.
My jeans will fit the way they used to.
I'll have dinner ready before 8:00pm.
I will get to exercise again.
I will get to sleep through the night.
..... but when that day comes my baby won't be little anymore.
He won't calm down- only when I hold him.
He won't fall asleep in my arms, holding his blanket with his arm
and my finger with his hand.
He won't smile and make cute noises when I sing to him.

So I'll find contentment somewhere in between and love my life right now because eventually that one day will come, and I'll probably miss right now.

I got in!

We found out last Friday that I was accepted into U of U's nursing program! So I will begin the program this May and be finished with a bachelors in Nursing next August! And then we leave for China! Life never slows down does it.

Thanks to the donation of tickets from my parents, Mitch was able to go to his first BYU basketball game with his parents! Wearing proper attire of course; his BYU shirt and basketball socks! He loved it and was very excited about the game and about half way through decided he was tired and slept through the second of half of the time we were at the game!
We took a vacation for president's day! Yeah! We got to go visit Antelope Island since it is right next to Dallin's hometown of "Sewersqueeze"! We had so much fun! And Dallin worked very hard to get a picture this close to the Bison!

I tried to make Mitch ride the buffalo but we both just ended up looking confused and silly!

Mitch got to meet his Mitchell grandparents for the first time! The main reason for our trip back to Dallin's hometown area!

So CUTE! DAllin caught him sleeping with his thumb in his mouth (which both of his parents also did as babies/ children) and holding his ear!

Both of his grandpas have now achieved making Mitch laugh also. Papa Palmer by taking to him and showing Mitch himself in the mirror. And Grandpa Randy by wiggling Mitch's ears and talking to him!
