LOngest blog Post-Anniversaries, balls, birthdays, and just parties!!!!

We went to the cabin for a family night party- the Stake Presidency 2001-2011 having one last party. Well Dallin and I were freezing so we found great grandmas sweaters in the backroom and decided to sport them! Doesn't Dallin look great in girl sweaters!!! :) So cute.
Mitch also had to have a picture since he has such a great outfit too! (Cookie monster onzie and BYU sportsuit!)
Mitch's last day at Seven Peaks! It was a great day and we can't wait to go back next year! Mitch loves water!!!
On our visit to grandma Betty's Mitch transformed into a baby mutant ninja turtle!
Dal and I both had to take a double look at this picture when we loaded the pictures... This is our darling nephew Jed-Not Mitch! We LOVED getting to play with him for a few days when he and his mom and sisters flew in for Grandma Mitchell's funeral, ( which was such a great funeral for a wonderful woman!)
I had to steal this cute picture from my sister-in-laws blog! So cute! This is Dallin with our darling nieces Addy and Lexi- Jed's sisters.
The boys with their grandma Joan! So cute... yes mine is the naked, round headed Charlie Brown :)
I got to fix my little sister Camille's hair and makeup for a Ball she was invited too! Now Ashley, myself, Moe, and Camille have worn this dress to a dance!
For our anniversary we had a picnic at the park and after dinner Mitch got to go on the swings... his favorite! He loves the park!

Dallin's LOVE brownies.

The last day of our STAYCATION with the Christiansen family! We stayed at the cabin, went hiking and went to the alpine slides.... and to see Captain America. At the movie I had an interesting diaper experience, if you want a ridiculous story just ask me later!:)

The Hike

This picture got a little out of place. This is from our weekend with the Palmer family for Grandma Mitchell's funeral. Joan and Mark made the cutest wind tunnel and let the kids earn their toys by trying to catch the fake money in the wind tunnel. These awesome swords are one of the prizes! Mitch was pretty intense sword fighting his cousin Jaxson!

And after all the fun Roo has to go to bed. His favorite book to have his daddy read him before bed is Brown Bear Brown bear- with all the special sound effects.
Good night!

The life of a little Roo

For starters BYU is playing the U on Saturday and it is an even bigger deal now that I am at the U... but still love BYU football! In fact, I got brave and wore my BYU football shirt to school today! Mitch is also sporting his SO CUTE BYU sports suit my cute cousin gave him!
Mitch is becoming more helpful all the time! He now helps me sort the wash, do the dishes (by splashing and soaking me, himself, and the floor!) and take out the trash... well really he just likes to play in the trash can. Mitch loves water and so when he found some in the toilet he tried out his dish doing tricks of splashing in it! I hope his enthusiasm for doing chores sticks!
I just had to add this picture because he looks like such a cute little goon! These are his 12 month pjs that are glow in the dark aliens! When my mom gave us these I imagined him wearing them around during Christmas time... by 8 months they fit perfectly! :) Who knew kids grew so fast!

A little too tall!

We took Mitch in for his nine month check up and he is in the 80th percentile for height... as shown in this picture he is using it to his advantage! He is also 60th in weight... surprisingly for how much this little guy can eat! I feel like I feed him ALL day long! He has also had two teeth come in on the bottom in the last week, and more to come! (His upper gums are swollen and the doctor said they should be coming in by next month!)
